How to get your director ID today

Director identification, or director ID is a unique identifier that will make identifying directors easier and help prevent the use of false and fraudulent director identities. This will help build a fairer business environment over time. All directors of companies in Australia must apply for their own director ID. Directors of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations are required to apply 30 November 2023. New directors are required to apply prior to their appointment from 1 November 2022. Cox Inall Ridgeway and Australian Business Registry Services administered by the Australian Taxation Office are inviting you to attend an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander information session on director ID.
